Lagos Gets New Air Conditioned Buses

Great innovation by the lagos state government. But one major issue is, what will become of danfo drivers and conductors, if they are finally asked not to operate on lagos roads. Me i'm seeing increase crime rate in lagos state if they are not well planned for.

They cannot stop danfo drivers from operating on the road. Ambode's father is not the owner of the roads . The danfo drivers too pay taxes and have the right to use the roads to make money to feed their families. Ambode should do his transport business and allow danfo drivers do theirs. He cannot monopolize everything.

Are u kidding? Or has sycophancy turned u too into a daylight liar or u are a rich kid who hasn't even been on a BRT bus maybe u are typing from Malaysia*sideeye* or and by the way maintaining a vehicle is not done by buying a new replacement every 6 months....

BRT plies my route . Palmgrove / Ikorodu axis. I most time join BRT because it's cheaper and faster to my working place. Stop the Medicrioty, no one is buying BRT every 6 month to replace the old ones. Don't be pained because you have different political affiliation with the party in Lagos state. Commend whenever it's necessary. The first set of BRTs were introduced by BRF during his first tenure. The buses lasted uptill his end of the 2nd tenure invariably 8yrs. Which were fair enough for replacement. Thereafter those set of buses were faced off. Immediately Ambode came in, he brought another new set of buses with additional facilities ( Internet and 24hrs AC into all of them. Those buses are still in place till tomorrow with their facilities intact. Don't be clever by half.

Which internet..lol...oga easy with your exaggerations. The internet only worked for one month amd do you know how long people have to wait on the queue before they get the buses. Ambode intentionally banned the red bus from plying the brt lane so he could monopolize it and make more money for his business. The useless BRT management dont care about wasting people's time because they know there is no competition so whether they are efficient or not, the money comes in anyways. You people should stop encouraging mediocrity. There is nothing special about brt or any rubbish buses brought in by a thieving govt to continue to enrich their pockets.

Your ignorance is second to none. If you simply don't know how to use the Wifi in the BRTs , you could have simply asked. I know your type, you are known of condemning every government policy without providing a single alternative or solution. Ignorant, is the BRT lane built for the red buses or the Blue buses?

Marcopolo Collaborates With Anambra state Vehicle Manufacturing Company To Supply Lagos with new City buses (Picture)

It is no news that the new Air-Conditioned Lagos Blue Buses have started rolling in, the buses made their first stop at the newly commissioned Ikeja Bus Terminus.

The interesting thing about these buses is that they have the physically challenged in mind as there is provision for them too.

A close look at these buses shows that they are Marcopolo buses. Marcopolo buses have a joint collaboration with
Nigeria’s bus plant ANAMCO in Anambra state, Nigeria.

Hope say e go get AC o
It's not about it having AC or not, but the mentality of both the drivers and the management is not helpingatters .even the old buses routing ikeja-ikotun-iyanaipaja has ac but they decided not to put it on for passengers simply because they thought we are locals and not used to it. Maybe becuse we are poor and our fairs don't deserve AC. Infact go to their tarminals beside alimosho local govt and check those busses, although they are old and turning to scraps, but their compressors are still very new and working.
Naija I hail una.

This bush man probably ran away from his village and landed lagos a couple of years. Which nonsense BRT buses still offer wifi in lagos. Please tell everyone which of the blue buses you used wifi since last year, you can give us the bus number while at it. And talking about red(LAG) buses, they were plying the BRT lane during fashola's government before your greedy ambode came in and banned them from using the lane because he wanted to make all the money with his new blue buses and kill any other competitors. When you cave men come to lagos from your cursed village, you begin to think you are in paradise. To you the BRT makes you feel like you are enjoying life. It's not your fault....that's what poverty does to people's brain.

It's the same bush men like you that praised the visonlesscape rubbish that your almighty itesiwaju eko governor brought and banned LAWMA and PSP that were managing waste properly. Lagos became very dirty again before they shamelessly had to allow LAWMA support their scam visionlesscape. When they tell you people to travel, learn and be enlightened, you won't. you will come to lagos and rent one room and be acting like you are in paradise praising mediocrity.

and the iti is yapping trash about ignorance when he knows nada.

Grow away from your elementary hatred. It will do you more good than harm. Local champion. Was BRT lane designed for red buses in the first place? I have said it before, your level of ignorance is second to non. When next your board a BRT, careful read the settings/ instructions close to the back of the driver on how to hook your phone with the free wifi in the bus, perhaps that will help you in a long way.
