Most likely....if you have the money...any tumor. ..even if caused by in growing hair... these doctors will not miss the opportunity to shout cancer. No such operation can rid one of cancer....plus chemotheraphy? He just got swindled and don't even know. Cancer is curable...not manageable....curable but by cheap alternative methods.

Even the regular doctors still misdiagnose patients.

Yeah, but the regular doctors are limited by resources used for diagnosis especially when the symptoms are not cancer specific. how many labs run tests for tumour markers, how many centers have CTs or MRIs?in all, the earlier cancer is detected the better.

My dear some don't even misdiagnose but I don no y d fin it difficult telling d patient dat he/she has cancer

This is unlike the doctors who would have collected money upfront before consultation, admission, surgery and treatment. After collecting all that money upfront, what kind of public 'thank you' on social media, are they expecting again? Or do they want additional free publicity from me, so that they can attract more clients? No way. And yes, God is a Healer, not a giver of diseases.

I am not fighting doctors. There is no fight anywhere. I just don't know why you are dragging this 'thank you' issue with regards to the doctors. Many private hospitals in Lagos, Abuja, Port-harcourt and Calabar charge the equivalent of five-star hotel room rates, for ordinary daily admission within their wards, these days.

By the time they add the cost of consultation, drugs, treatment, surgery, dressing, nursing fee etc, it becomes a prohibitive figure. After paying all that, you still want me to give them free publicity online, by thanking them publicly? No way. Did they do the surgery on credit, or did they offer admission on credit? No. So what kind of public thank you, do they need? The doctor has performed a service, for which he collected upfront payment, before even rendering the service. It is a Quid pro quo situation. So which kind of public 'thank you' is he entitled to again, on social media? Haba!

The fireman is paid by taxpayers, but they also attend to those who do not pay taxes. If you call them for help, will they ask you first if you have paid your taxes? No! They just move in, and get the job done without asking questions, unlike doctors that must see your payment before commencing treatment. So that is why we thank and applaud fire safety personnel publicly, for a job well done.
