Not a bad game. Many will be looking at yhe result but I'm more interested in how players performed. Onazi and Joel Obi didn't cover themselves in glory. Etebo and Ogu did better. Ebuehi also had a good game. It's also good that Gernot Rohr has a plan B. He switched to a back 3 with John Ogu and Iwobi dropped deeper giving better stability in defence. 12 Likes |

Ok at the game and it's not a good look. Nigeria are making this team look brilliant. We have holes in midfield on the right and left. Midfield and defense look slow and the while teams setup is not containing England's passing which is embarrassing Joe Obi is the wrong guy for midfield but to be honest the teams setup is porous. Final Verdict: 1. Super Eagles won't win world cup, buhari and nff can forget it  2. The Coach is still trying to establish his 1st eleven, some trusted legs disappointed today. 3. The team will look better when Ndidi comes back, etebo and ogu did a decent job. 4. Musa may not be technically sound but he plays his heart out. 5. the goalkeeper could have kept the score 1-1 if kane's goal didn't squirm under his body. N.B: Nigeria needs to watch against slow start at the world cup, as u can see today; team selection can affect the outcome of a game. Wheeew! That was the worst 1st half of football I have ever watched from a Nigerian team ... 2nd half was more like it, if they played the 1st half like 2nd half Nigeria would've beaten England or draw. That 2nd half performance though ... going to be a good World Cup. 6 Likes |

And England wins 2-1 England had the 1st half and should have scored at least 4 goals in that half because Naija's defense was ultra shambolic Second half , Naija woke up with a follow up goal from Iwobi after Ighalo struck the foot of the goal post Overall, we are not there yet at all. Our team is not organized, Communication between players very poor . Most of our players were colliding with each other like they're in a bull fight Our defense need to tidy up Midfield worries me, Our attackers must be ready to convert one time. better display in the Second half Fact I got from the Game Please can we just drop onazi and Joel already just look how calm etebo was in that second half It's looks like our coach is technically okay I mean his new formation matched England in the second half We need another striker to help Ighalo because Iheanacho and musa re not strikers Ebuehi is a natural right back And finally is only naija can play with confidence we really have like 5 or 6 quality players that can make a difference in that team 4 Likes |
