Hello Webmasters,

I have built a site using OSclass script, but the PHP validation aspect is giving me issues.

The site is a classified ads website.

The problem about the site is to make email address input and optional field. I have tried it the way i can yet. It's not working, i have even removed the email address input from the form field, yet it still requires for email before submission of ad post.

One will need to modify the registration method in whichever class it is and comment out the email validation. An easy route is to set a default value for email so that email field is not empty on form submission (bad way).

Keep looking at the Code. It will work one day. Or simply write it on paper burn it and drink the water. It gonna work. U need a free programmer. Go train ur villager s and give them the job to do for you. This Guy has the got to insult me . God will judge you.

My dear, i have forgotten about this thread, i just stumbled on it.

This thread thought me something about so-called Nigerian programmers.

Real and good programmers will never run up and down calling/messaging someone for a job, they will tell you to contact them or you find them.

Most of the Nigerian guys parading and advertising themselves as programmers , knows nothing about programming apart from learning the syntax of some programming languages - Please with due respect to Nairaland REAL programmers.

About 30 people contacted me about this work but believe me, after telling them what the work was all about which i know is about the validation of JavaScript/JQuerry, non of them could even attempt the work.

The one that annoys me most was one idiot who made me spend time to explain everything to him and at the end, he asked me if the project is WordPress? even when i have vividly explained the work to him. funny enough he kept on asking me how much i will pay him at first that he can deliver the work within 30 minutes.

I can remember i only rebuked one idiot and that's the person who asked me if the work is on WordPress.

That shows that you know nothing about programming because i had first explained what the work is all about here on Nairaland and also when you contacted me through WhatsApp, i explained very well to you, bu since you know nothing about programming you displayed your foolishness to me and kept on asking me 'how much will you pay 10 times.
