kettykings: YORUBA CHURCHES SHOULD BE A NO GO AREA FOR IGBO FAMILIES. THE INCREASE IN YORUBA AND IGBO MARRIAGES IS DUE TO A DELIBRATE PAIRING OF IGBO WOMEN TO YORUBA MEN BY YORUBA PASTORS IN THOSE CHURCHES. YORUBA CHURCHES CANNOT BE TRUSTED. |

kettykings:Seriously I'm getting fed up with you guys perpetual victim mentality. How does the choice of where a govt purchase it mass transit bus translate into hatred? Igbo traders litters every nooks and crannies of the west and they enjoy huge patronage from the Yoruba's or are you guys blind to that? The fact is you guys cannot be pleased. If I should get the chance to preside over this country, the first thing I'll do is grant Biafra independence, send every igbo back to their places of origin and build a wall of dermacation between Biafra and the rest of Nigeria. |

You do not buy 10000 buses in one day. 800 might even be too much. There are lots of learnings ahead in terms of operational management .safety training and security. Whether the vehicle brand is actually suitable for Lagos must be tested and proven. Finally the buses must be , at once, profitable and affordable for private sector operators. That too must be "modelled" . One other thing is the sizing. Are they optimal for Lagos. In many cites bus services are subsidized and that is what allows them to run on time whether full or empty. In so many cities now buses have the same timetable for every single day e.g Yaba to Oshodi @ 13.00 and every 10 minutes thereafter. If you are at the busstop and there is a delay you can check with your phone how long you have to wait. You can plan your journey that way counting on the reliability. That makes it less necessary to own a car In Lagos bigger buses may take longer to fill and private operators are not concerned about buses running on time. Different routes may require different bus sizes |

You leave an indigenous automaker and place order for 1500 Marco polo buses from foreign company at higher cost cos of graft and tribalism. Is this really One Nigeria ? No one can tell me that Innoson Motors can not Assemble these buses at lower cost. This is not patriotism. What ever we can produce in this country is okay for us until we can optimize. London makes are double decker buses. China makes her speed trains and buses. Nigeria ignores are buses and imports from Brazil. The black man has a mental and spiritual problem with himself. |

Solstar:You are the one that is tribal and sentimental with serious spiritual handicap and disability This your so called indiginous maker. How many buses has he "MADE" since opening operations? What is the operational track record of his products.? No one anywhere acting rationally will buy 800 vehicles in one day from an unproven maker.Does he even have the capacity? The truth is there is oonly one reasonto patronize him and that would be sentiment How many of the buses enroute to Iboland are Innoson products? |

PVision2020:please put your fed up hype into action and not just rant on niaraland, recently igbos have been massacred for wanting to opt out of nigeria, what other proof do you need to realise that igbos will either get biafra or die trying to .you talk as if yoruba taxi drivers , tailors and churches dont litter every where in ncountry |

Pigsandidiots:Ibos need Yoruba Churches because God will not listen to them if they talk directly. They must come through the Yoruba annointing The words of the Ibo are foul in the ears of the Lord |

aribisala0:You sound like a complete slowpoke of a skewed upbringing and I blame your parents for that. I mentioned Nations of Earth, economic centres so to speak. America uses indigenous buses for transport and China uses indigenous vehicles. London makes her double decker buses. Those were my point. I didn't mention Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo. I simply stated that tribalism and graft is why these governments including Lagos State will import such number of buses from abroad when there is an indigenous company called Innoson Motors and I didn't care if Innoson is Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo. All I know that it is Nigerian indigenous. And I concluded that a black man is mentally and spiritually his worst enemy. Yet you school drop out dimwit find it necessary to drag me into your low life tribalism? Do you care to know if I am Yoruba you fool ? Read my posts I am not into tribalism so spare me your stupidity assshole and focus on ths thread and dont drag me into your tribalism |

kettykings:Until your political office holders, politicians, elite, academics and those you've constitutionally chosen to represent you key into your Biafra propaganda nobody will take your charade and jamborees serious. Independence is never given to jobless thugs masquerading as freedom fighters. Everybody knows Biafra is a stale-cheap propaganda/blackmailing tool the igbos refers to when the govt at the centre doesn't favour their selfish interest. |

Solstar:I'm not sure innoson has the capacity to assemble such huge volume within a short time frame.... Innoson motors business model is largely patronage.... You order, he produces for u..... He really needs to partner with major assembly factories in Asia if he's really serious about establishing himself as a major car manufacturer..... However, I agree those buses should have been produced in Nigeria.... There's nothing wrong if Lagos state govt partners with a bus company to open an assembly plant in Lagos in return for exclusive patronage by the state transportation system.... 800 buses no be beans and they are still going to buy more.... We are talking of billions of naira leaving the shores of this country.... Our politicians no dey try at all..... |

People like to deceive themselves. Car manufacture is a capital intensive business ,not for individuals otherwise people buying will risk their lives. This Innoson fellow needs to take his business to the stock market or look for serious investors to support him. Even Dangote cannot do it alone |
| Re: Lagos Takes Delivery Of 800 Marcopolo Buses From Brazil by Nobody: 3:35pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
SIRTee15:Another angle to look at it is why Lagos State should not establish an Assembly plant with such liquidity as a capital base and progressively produce vehicles for the road for ever. Our politicians must think 100yrars ahead. There is nothing to hurry about in the life of a country. |
