I have seen a lot of people make this statement "vote Buhari out and vote who in?" and I wonder over their senselessness and lack of love for this country.

One of the implications of this statement is that Buhari is the ONLY one who can rule Nigeria well. Well, I think it is stupid to assume that it is only Buhari that can rule this country well when we have over 160 million Nigerians.

Another implication of this is that since the assumption is Buhari is the only one who can rule this country well, he should rule forever. This is too emotional and stupid! We are not at Buhari's mercy.

Remember that Buhari won the election just because Nigerians as a people got tired of Jonathan even though Nigerians were head over heels in love with him in the beginning!

Once again, it is bad to use this statement.

What the country experienced in 2016 & 2017 was the backlash of our actions and cheerful irresponsibility of Nigerians. Every action (positive and negative) has a consequent. We learnt our lesson the hard way. You can't achieve peace without war, and in war, you have casualties. Why not we put that behind us and embrace a new Nigeria?

As for a fresh face nobody has stepped up so far apart from Sowore. i support youth 2019 even if it is Yusuf Buhari alternatively let's manage any of atiku, donald duke, orji uzor kalu, Rochas, Dankwambo.

While ur thread is valid to discredit buhari from being voted for any reason at all it has also failed to supply any general alternative cos in the game of politics there must be A focal point. 2015 its was clear jonathan vs buhari and we picked. This time arrmd there seems to be many contenders and a state of confusion on who will be generally or popularly accepted by the opposition. If no person eventually stands out and we all vote differently for these options buhari will still win and ur many oppositions will lose and the logic of this thread flawed. This is the present problem. Can the opposition be unified like in 2015 or do they want to win separately?
