How long does it take the lava to get down the mountain before it reaches villages around.
I expect ppl to have moved the moment the eruption sounded. Take your kids leave other things behind and run for your dear life. some even have Vehicles etc.

It is well sha may their souls rest in peace. Thank God for Africa.

The only volcano and hurricane we have are bad leaders. And by collective efforts we will get rid of them gradually.
