sjeezy,

Igbo women are not known to have children out of wedlock. Better look at your Yoruba babes. They have no shame when it comes to that. They will even sleep with their father in laws.

If the end result is not a marriage, an Igbo woman will drop you like no tomorrow.

But since Alaigbo has a surplus in Igbo women, than they have to find a husband somewhere. Sad truth is that there are not that many Igbo men walking around.

Here's what I don't understand about Osoba's account:

1) The men who recovered his body said it was badly decomposed. These people included police officers, medical officers and people who knew the PM. They saw injuries consistent with bullet wounds. The whole reason they discovered the body was because they smelled the odour of composition.

2) This is another area where Osoba's account has to be critically analysed. Various sources over the years have not always correctly identified the second corpse found near Balewa. Some say it was Okotie-Eboh, and others say it was Largema. Faced with these contradictory accounts, I concluded the second corpse was that of Largema because:

(a) The Special Branch report stated that "When he [Ifeajuna] and Okafor became certain that the PM was dead they left the body in the bush at a point beyond Otta on the Lagos to Abeokuta road. They then opened the boot of the car and dropped the body of Lt. Col. Largema near that of the PM."

This account was provided by the very people who murdered them and who dumped the bodies in the bush.

The people who identified the bodies included an army physician and others who personally knew Largema and worked with him for many years prior to his murder. I have studied and researched this matter in minute forensic detail for years. I left no stone unturned and Osoba's account does not add up.

I am not saying Osoba is lying. Merely questioning the differences in accounts between different eyewitnesses. Balewa's own ADC handled the body at the scene, as did other close kin - they all describe a bad stench and decomposition.
Lol. Now Onlytruth and the regular Biafran legion are expecting us to accept the words of a man who is/was neither a Coroner or a Pathologist. lol.

To the untrained individual, even the body of a shooting victim would be devoid of bullet wounds (even a day after death) because they do not know what to look for. . . . . so I guess, Okotie-Eboh died of a migraine, huh?

The funny thing about you small boy is that you think by being with Igbo women, you think Igbo men care. We could care less.

The fact in the matter is that in order to get to an Igbo man, you don't talk about our women, you talk about our money.

Another thing is that the Igbo women who whor-e themselves out to Yoruba or aboki are AKWUNA to the wider Igbo. And they deserve what they get. No biggie to me. Yoruba man could be with my sister, but if that Yoruba messes wit my money, his life is forfeit.

i am suprise how you all are trying to derail this thread, if the recent account is something truth which I believe is, the worst blunder on earth has been committed in Nigeria.
the thought of PM-Balewa being shot evoke outrageous emotion which T.Y and Co used in hunting down other people, if the version was that asthma not bullet killed PM-Balewa I think things would have a human face.
The truth must be unravel and all who is saying they don't care about that, sorry for them angry

Sure he is! A writer that EXTENSIVELY and PAINSTAKINGLY went through numerous official documents before publishing his reports is a "False writer", but those that developed amnesia for 40yrs, and just suddenly came out of their coma are credible, right?

Where is Katsumoto huh huh huh

I will never allow this thread to die until he shows up to counter Segun Osoba.

If prime minister Tafawa Balewa did not have bullet wounds 24 hrs after his death, how could the coup plotters have "shot him dead"? What really happened to him and Okotie Eboh? huh

So, Mathew Mbu was right then? huh

Who were the real sponsors of January 1966 coup. Segun Osoba alludes that the civilian government of 1966 had something to do with the coup. Who and who in that government sponsored that coup? huh

And I don't want to see Maxsiollun near this thread! angry cool cool cool

Accepted and I apologize for my wording, but I really get pissed off when people claim they know it all. Intelligence is intrinsic in every being, though can be improved slightly thru education. There’s no amount of studying history that’ll make one more intelligent than one is; you’ll see kids with very high IQ, so it’s natural.

When people talk without basic reasoning, it makes we wonder. Tafawa Balewa WAS NOT on the list of those to be assassinated and an independent reporter, an eye witness, reported that his corpse was fresh and made sure to state and I quote “No marks of bullets on both bodies”.  Now someone is relying on the Special Branch report and other interested party's account as the only correct narrative of the event, just like someone relying on the CIA for correct info when the case is not yet declassified.

Yeah, sure! This same "eye witness" - - - - who is neither a Coroner nor a Pathologist- - - - - admitted that this "Fresh Body" was infested with maggots! Thats really fresh if u ask me!

From the interview:

All I am saying is that Tafawa Balewa’s body that I saw was a fresh one and that, yes, the body might have odour by the time they got to Bauchi but not as strong as they put it. A body without embalming after 24 hours would, naturally, after a while.

. . . because the body (of Okotie Eboh) I saw close by was already being infested by maggots
From his original report:

While the body of Alhaji Balewa was still fresh, that of Chief Okotie Eboh was swollen and in a decomposed state.

What are you people trying to prove?
1)The bottom line is that these people were murdered, either by bullets or other means.
2)That the bodies were found near each other suggest they were killed by the same murderers.
3) A layman (not a medically qualified person, especially as a pathologist) may NOT be able to correctly identity a body which died of a gun shot injury, especially after some hours.
4) The coupists were arrested and they gave confessional statements to police investigative team.
