There is no reason asking when it is a posthumous recognition. Can Achebe's ghost reject any recognition accorded him now? Abiola's family has always sought for this level and significance of recognition. They have always wanted their patriarch to be recognised as the winner of that election and that June 12 should be immortalized. They finally got it. 1 Like |
