Lol. I actually don't mind the notch. I don't love it, but it doesn't bother me. I like having ALOT of screen. More screen in the same form factor of my previous phone. It's great.

But it's also Amazing to know that if you don't want to look at it, you don't have to. More manufacturers should do this.

The one I can't stand is 720p on 5.5 inch and above. 1080p on s7 edge is very good and u can't really differentiate it from 1440p unless when using VR. Moreover display quality is not just about screen resolution. Brightness level and viewing angles play a lot. Some Infinix and even Xioami mid range phones have 1080p but the quality, brightness, viewing angles is not on per with Samsung's or other big players 1080p. I will trade my Qhd display for a very good FHD if I can get tangible battery life improvement.

I just hate people that come online and try to educate someone on how to spend their money. Nigerians just cannot mind their own freaking business. U buy an expensive thing they will say why don't u invest the money. They talk trash even when they don't know the person or how much investment he has. When someone spends 300k on a phone some people will come here and say 'how much be land for Ibeju" very stupid comment, so what if the person already has like 2 houses and other properties, he should not enjoy the money he has worked for? This one now is saying 'invest in crypto'.. so let me ask.. that money invested what is it for really? WHat if someone already has many investments, he should keep investing and not spend on the things he likes, until he dies.

There are some people that spend more than 300k at the club every Friday. Its stupid trying to teach someone how to spend their money because u were not there when he was making the money.

I saw the comments but ignored it. Nairaland las been hijacked by kids, this site used to be creme de La creme back in the days but se.un has messed it up in all directions to the extent that in 2018, NL doesn't have a mobile app and the owner is a programmer. Shame!!

And yh, being able to hide the notch is quite handy. My problem with the design is why add a notch if you still gonna have a chin below? I guess they don't have curved display technology yet.
