If it's chairs/row, just use the absence of chairs to know the number of peeps on the row.

The seats would give you a good number. You have aisles and sections so once full all you need is to count them chairs before the meeting. Why would you need to count the members?

1st row, -2
2nd, -4

3rd, -3

and on and on....
