All they are interested is in emotionally blackmailing those who don't tithe and acquiring jets and cars while the very very stupid members say "God is blessing my pastor o". A good number of these church members make it hard for people who are not Christians to become one, like a certain fellow in some other thread on FP now who resorted to calling people "pigs and idiot" for not believing in his pastor, and when I challenged him, he told me to go kill myself.

And we complain about Islamisation? When Christianity is not ready to accommodate?

We should stop crying foul abeg.

What we need do is tackle the matter.

Listen, go and read history.

1. Before the British intervened in the 19th century, the Fulani had were well on their way to conquering what is now Nigeria. The fulani blame the british till today for interfering. Fact.

2. The concept of Jihad is a multi-generational mission. If you have a short term view you will not appreciate their plan.

3. Despite their grip on power in the 70's and 80's , conditions were never quite right for full Islamization. The north has always had to depend on southern and middle belt elements for rulership. For instance, the middle belt fought the war with the hausa-fulani against Biafra. This has
made them more cautious.

4. Despite the point above, the north has never ceased to implement the plan in stages. Have you heard of the OIC controersy during the IBB regime ? Do you know about General Zamani Lekwot and the Kaduna riots ? Do you know that today as a Southerner you have no representation on the security councils ?

5. Islam enjoins its followers to spread the religion by any means necessary; a moderate muslim is a bad muslim. Understand that. There is no middle ground.

I am a Christian too but Islamisation is possible. The aim is to set and impose the rules for the country though not every Muslim believe in the scheme some do. While average Muslim in Nigeria is aware of what is going on. Islamisating begin with one step and could take as many years as possible even up to 1000 years to materialize by then non of us will be around. It can never happen only if all of us keep kicking against it. Nigeria is a secular state and should be like that. Do not rule by any religion just give the people development. Restructuring or devolution of power will address issue like religious ruling because the governor will be keep busy within her state while the president will not have absolute power over the country again like it is now.
