He died today in Lagos. He was popular for hot Reggae music hits in the 90's.Ras Kimono’s debut album Under Pressure, led by the single “Rum-Bar Stylée in 1989.

Metro News reports that was to travel to United States last night, and he complained of not feeling too well. He was rushed to an hospital in Ikeja, Lagos then later taken to Lagoon Hospital in the Island.

Eya. As you all can see nature has finally passed the torch from a veteran to the new school. I still listen to Kimono No De Want from time to time.
Nothing lasts forever no matter how precious. I only thank God he was highly treasured in the industry before the untimely.

His track "Gimme Likkle Sugar" which talks about poor government policies, bad leadership/governance, police brutality, mass unemployment etc is still relevant today 29 years after.
