I thought I was discussing with a serious person. Igbos can continue being “conquered citizens”- because that is what you are and will continue to be. But we would want some peace and quiet, while also assuring igbos of security and right to live here.

The hate for Yorubas is ingrained in igbo children right from 3 years old. It is a common practice among igbos.

We are not surprised. But igbos need to channel that hate into building a viable south east, because they would have their own country one day and because they really have no stake in Nigeria, apart from trading of course.

It will rain in Ibadan and rain in Enugu. The houses in Ibadan, with their rusted roofs, remain on their 100yr old "rural, under rural" foundation but the "super modern" mansions with colorful copper alloy roof in Enugu have their foundation swept from under them and the property washed away.
