Hi guys.

I own an EOD 2004 and its giving me some issues with the gear.

If the car has been parked for say more than about 6 to 10 hrs, and when I turn on the engine and switch the gear to drive 'D', there is a 5 to 7 secs delay before it engages, and when it does engage it causes a heavy impact and the car shakes. Please note that there's no issue when I put it in reverse 'R'.

The transmission performs well when in motion. As in when driving.

May not be a big issue, start by checking the gearbox and engine sittings

Thanks but already checked. It occurs only when the car has been parked for a while as stated. After that every thing seems normal.

When last was the ATF changed? This problem is likely internal of the transmission

Who dash you car? you better go and return that car from who you stole it from.
