The Government of The People’s Republic of China has made scholarship offers to the African Union Commission, through the Department of Human Resources, Science and Technology. The Chinese Government African Union Scholarships will enable African students study in China in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. The scholarships are intended for studies leading to the award of Master’s and Doctoral Degrees.

Bro,I have started doing the same. My chosen school is Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). And your school?

Am applying at Tongji university. So most universities require online application and mailing hard copy to China but the scholarship announcement doesnt mention mailing..not sure which is which??

ok. I have not seen where my school requested mailing hard copy to them,maybe I will still see it before I finish filling the form. In my own case,the challenges that I am having is that der is a place in my online form named Financial Supporter, under it der is Guarantor Name, The guarantor Tel,organization, the guarantor address,relationship with applicant. Sir, my question now is that am I going to get guarantor or is the body that want to give me the scholarship that will serve as my guarantor, since it is scholarship and the information is needed under financial supporter. pls,guide me sir. thanks

So the univ. that am applying to had a section with options to select e.g. Chinese government scholarship, self funded etc so I just selected this scholarship coz it was listed..I think you can mention the Chinese AU scholarship your funder

This Africa is just weird. So to do common acceptance or rejection mail is difficult? at least say that you have taken some people so others can know that the matter is closed, that one sef na problem. Don't know y i am surprised sef.

They should just give us the results whether good or bad instead of leaving us in suspense. I emailed Stephens of AU about 2 weeks ago he said we should wait for the results from Chinese govt but nothing until now. Maybe someone else should ask him about this issue so that we may know once and for all

Somebody should e-mail that Stephens Caseley of AU.I would do that but I've emailed him more than twice already. But to be honest I've given up ooo...am applying for other scholarships that have opened for 2019
