Nigeria & many africa countries - are obsessed with GRANDIOSE stadiums that probably only filled up once or twice a year - I like what Gov Joho is doing in Mombasa building small stadiums that operate 24hrs - thanks to lighting.

How many times do a country get to host African cup of Nation or World cup. These are vanity projects. Grandiose stadiums that never get utilized. I am glad Kenya gov has refused to spend hard earned money on such projects. As far as stadium goes...Nairobi has lot of stadium for different sports...mainly small stadias...and it should remain that why. What we need are those community stadium & business parks.
