Thank you sir.
1. I am waiting for a batrium BMS.
Till it comes we will limit the max charge and discharge to between .5 and 1 V above the max discharge and one volt below the max charge.

2. Victron Quattro
I salute people who will work with individual 18650 cells. I lack the patience or ability to do what you do. This battery already comes with everything in it including an internal BMS.

i am so excited, cant wait to see it run....

now u can run your air-conditioner without too much of voltage lag
u can drain to about 3v per cell, meaning u get more on a full discharge compared to lead acid, lead acid can never allow or u kill it

the best thing for us in nigeria is the li-ion does not like to be fully charged(does not like to remain in fully charged status)

pls let us know about ur progres

is that not 2 x 24 telsa bat, cause above u mentioned 48v

We intend to do a three phase to power his central AC. He has paid for additional batteries. The tesla 2 x 24 come from the Model S. These were built by Tesla for Mercedes and Smart. They were used in the Electric Vehicle that won its category in the Paris Dakar. They are 48V modules. I will not drain down to 3. Maybe 3.3 to 3.4 and max may be 4 on the charge side. And you are absolutely correct. They don't need to be fully charged. They don't like complete discharges either. Keep them in 85 to 90 % range and you are good.

Does that inverter support lithium batteries?

Yes the Victron Quattro supports lithium. They have assistants designed specifically for Lithium Batteries. I have one running in Ikoyi with a Victron BMS and Victron Lithium Batteries.

I have a friend who has a LED TV with adapter (picture below ). The adapter output is 12v-3.2 amps. Technically I believe it would work if connected directly to a 12v battery, but what I would like to know is if the TV can withstand higher voltage when the battery is charging. The same question goes for decoders.

I believe this is what a user here meant by repeating on some pages back that he doesn't use inverter, I think for a very small system of a room or room and parlour, it's workable. Thanks in advance

Use inverter jeje..
Don't destroy your TV and Decoder, connecting to battery mean Voltage and current will not be regulated..

Most DC appliances can tolerate some overvoltage - however, the expectation for consumer DC appliances is that you will be powering them from a regulated power supply (fixed or tightly controlled voltage) so most manufacturers won't bother to spec the DC voltage tolerance of their device.

In simple English, you wont easily know if your 12vdc device can tolerate up to 14vdc or whether 14.6vdc would fry it or make it run hot - so to be safe just use the recommended regulated power supply jeje like someone already recommended

I have had experiences with 1 and 2. They give a good warranty. They are also running obsolete firmware from the original manufacturer. Weaknesses: the blow up if PV is connected and you interrupt the connection to the batteries. The do tend to hunt or sweep more frequently than the originals.
Pluses: You can manage battery settings and voltage. They give you a log of your production for up to 120 days (FM).

have been searching for such steam iron..no luck..th3 least i saw was 1450w..n its the automatic steam type.i need the manual steam type.
busz me if u see such

grin grin

Try this and thank me later.
It is the lowest I could get.
I rarely use PHCN for ironing, it is of no strain on my microtek inverter.
It intermittently draws 3A-AC/580w Max at start for about a minute or so.

They are all suitable for 12-24v-,. ,48v, 60v
Consider how they handle heat generated within the unit. No. 2 and 3 are fanless and are said to be robost.
Offered any of the 3 mppt, I will stick to flexmax as I have fm80 & fm60 (backup) respectively. ( cumulatively, The last time I checked, I am on the betterside MEGAWATT electricity generated as harvest even though that is tiny compare to what big boyz on the forum generate in 90 days). grin grin cheesy

If you choose flexmax, go for fm80 because it is so easy to replace the fan and I know you will not regret it if you adhere to simple diy rules and not blowup ur unit.

Welcome to the addictive world of RE - Best regards!

No. 1 of course. I use the Fangpusun flexmax 80A. Been using it for more than a year, no issue. Though the FAN can be noisy but its bearable.
