The man who drove the bus which was involved in a fatal accident that killed eight indigenes from Edo state - has been identified. According to confirmed reports, the driver identified as Osaro Aguebor popularly known as Asoko, was among the victims who died in the fatal crash - leaving behind his wife and four young children.

Some Edo indigenes were killed in a fatal bus accident on Tuesday along Lagos – Ibadan expressway about two km away from Danco filling station - on return from Spain. It was reported that about eight persons, five males and three females, lost their lives in an accident when a Hummer bus conveying them rammed into a Mack truck.

The Public Relations Officer of TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, who confirmed, said the driver of the speeding hummer bus ram into the rear of a truck marked MUS 730 XN in bids to overtake it.

no need for autopsy.....fatigue and zeal to meet up the demands of transport companies caused the accident.most transport companies overwork their drivers.imagine a driver driving to Benin early in d morning from lagos and he is expected to convey passengers in Benin back to Lagos that same day

The truth is that he drove rubbish! He hadn't evn left lagos proper before ramming a truck from behind. And to think that he still had above 330km more to his destination...These people keep driving uncontrolled speed! Rip to him

this is why I clalwayd chose God is good motors,they don't drive above 100km/hr.iyare drivers are kbown for overspeeeding

I could care less about what he looks like or his family.

What I care about is why 8 people lost their lives under his command. As the Captain, he is responsible for the comfort and safe delivery of his passengers.

On a clear day with good road and visibility as well as clear weather, he managed to run into the back of a trailer at extremely high speed thereby ending the lives of 8 people.

I see them all the time on that Lagos - Ibadan expressway, they drive as if they are drugged up monkeys with mo regards to law and order.
