I haven't watched a lot of bad movies this year mainly from reading reviews and steering clear from them, but occasionally, few fall through the crack.

- The Quiet Place: Not particularly a bad film. The film pulled too many punches and you end up with something that's deeply unsatisfying. The end (esp), was a problem for me. These creatures took everything from this woman (her own CHILD) and they FINALLY discover a way to subdue the creatures and they frigging robbed me of the scene of bloody righteous vengeance?! I want blood!!! Alien blood!!!
- Solo: Again not really bad, but how many more of these meaningless action sequences (with even more meaningless dialogue) do we need to endure?
- Black Panther : One of the worst movies of the year for me. The only good part was when Killmonger threw Black Panther off of the waterfall. I clapped and cheered. That stupid accent triggered the hell out of me.
- Rampage: Too many CGI fights, little substance, too predictable, cheesy dialogue. The end.
- Jurassic World: Fresh paint, old contemplate.
- You Were Never Really Here: The action sequences done with different angles from surveillance footage is a new and exciting contribution to cinema. But... I don't know... I'm not sure that I felt anything by the end. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to make of all the copious brutality. Has justice been served? I guess. Do I care? Not really.
- Annihiliation: Very pretentious movie. Natalie Portman is increasingly become an actor/actress with a highly punchable face, perhaps this is because she plays so many similar, vapid roles. No more risk taking for Portman, amirite?

A Quiet Place is one of the best movies of the year. Argue with my French tutor.

Besides there is an upcoming sequel. When i got the end i guessed as much and when i checked online it was confirmed. All the blood and gore of justice will be in the sequel, as well as additional characters.

Ishilove:
Annihilation is also a very good movie. Slow and thoughtful, leaving viewers with loads of questions that are open for debate. Lovely.

The ending should have told you that a sequel is planned. It is very obvious that the movie was deliberately planned to have a sequel hence an ending that leaves us yearning for more.

This is similar to a situation where a bank vault was hit by a motley crew of bank robbers and they make away with 25 million dollars in a 50 million dollar vault. The bank manager been an opportunistic bastard that he is saw an opportunity, and promptly kept the rest of the 25 million for himself. He then reported the theft of 50 million to the authorities, thereby successfully pinning his half of the crime on the robbers, because he knew the robbers are not gonna come out and refute his claim without giving themselves away. The perfect crime.

Batman is a billonaire, he can build a flying suit like Iron Man but if he did that....people would complain that DC is copying Marvel.
Batman can operate with Batmobile, Batcycle, the stylish aircraft (batjet) and the mech suit he used against superman.

Most of his bigger weapons and artilery are used against bigger threats.

On a normal day Batman would employ Batarang and hand to hand combat.

Btw, no one is advocating for a flying Batman aka Iron Man 2.0 except you!
The majority of comic book fans are satisfied with Batman.
DC fans will puke if Batman swapped his batarang for an AK 47, not to mention a flying Batman .If this is a joke pls stop it.

In Marvel, you have Black Panther...a billonaire who operates with a vibranuim suit.
T'challa can add thrusters to his suit so he can fly like Iron Man.
But he didn't and never will.
With all the billions he has, he runs on the ground like every other human.
Black Panther does not fire missles and explosives like Iron Man.

Iron Man used vibranuim tech to make a better suit (watch Infinity War) but T'challa with all the technological advancement in Wakanda, is still using hand to hand combat.

And Marvel fans are not complaining.

So why do you think we need a flying Batman

When you talk about power levels and ability, Batman may look weak to you.
But Batman remains the most brilliant guy in Justice League if not the entire DC universe.
He's a master tactician.
Batman is the leader of Justice League (even in the comics), yeah so much for a guy you deemed WEAK
Heroes like Superman and a 100 year old Wonder Woman takes orders from Batman.

Batman singlehandedly put the League in trouble after he secretly profiled all their weaknesses.

Without Batman a powerful team like JL is not complete.

The problem is that you keep downgrading Batman cuz he got no powers. He's just a traditional crime fighter.
Therefore he is WEAK to you.

You might as well call Lex Luthor a WEAKLING.
People like Batman and Lex are ordinary mortals.
But because of their intelligence and brilliance.
They are considered powerful and dangerous.

Batman is one of the best things in DC.

Rewind back to Dawn of Justice.
When Batman was whipping Superman's ass with Kryptonite.
People like you complained that Superman who is the Alpha and Omega in DC was pathetically under-powered and treated like dirt.

What kind of Superman do you people want

NOTE : Superman's weakness is Kryptonite.

Now imagine that Kryptonite in the hands of a master tactician like Batman.

I got no beef with the fact that Batman beat Superman.
Heck...he did it in the comics too!
So you cant berate the movie producer when the comic books has already established that Batman with kryptonite will pound Supes!

It is the one in Justice League that pissed me off.
Superman pounding Steppenwolf so easily.
Wonder Woman and Aquaman couldn't do it, even tho they have super strength, the same ability that Supes employed on Wolf.

BVS fight was understandable and logical as well.
Supes vs Steppenwolf debacle in JL was a no no...

Five minutes into A Quiet Place and I've got to say the movie is quite engaging. It heightens your other senses as your sense of hearing is left idle. Nice concept for a movie. Ok. Let me get back. More to come

I wonder what Jackie Chan is still doing acting? He's too old to do sh1t abeg, imagine a man in his 60s throwing pathetic punches all in the bid of fighting, inasmuch I'm a huge fan. they need to leave him be, so he could aleast grow old in peace.

They're average talented at best. The lethargic football I witness yesternight finally convinced me that Nigeria desperately need a creative midfielder to spray defense splitting passes, an enforcer that will break up play, fast effective full backs to spray diagonal crosses, and skilful pacy forwards. Right now, the coach is only making do with what he has. You can't conjure a fluid liquid football from players not technically enabled.
