In 1987 FBI agent Robert Hanssen was asked to find
a mole in the FBI. He was the mole and had been
working with the KGB since 1979. |

I haven't watched a lot of bad movies this year mainly from reading reviews and steering clear from them, but occasionally, few fall through the crack. - The Quiet Place: Not particularly a bad film. The film pulled too many punches and you end up with something that's deeply unsatisfying. The end (esp), was a problem for me. These creatures took everything from this woman (her own CHILD) and they FINALLY discover a way to subdue the creatures and they frigging robbed me of the scene of bloody righteous vengeance?! I want blood!!! Alien blood!!! - Solo: Again not really bad, but how many more of these meaningless action sequences (with even more meaningless dialogue) do we need to endure? - Black Panther : One of the worst movies of the year for me. The only good part was when Killmonger threw Black Panther off of the waterfall. I clapped and cheered. That stupid accent triggered the hell out of me. - Rampage: Too many CGI fights, little substance, too predictable, cheesy dialogue. The end. - Jurassic World: Fresh paint, old contemplate. - You Were Never Really Here: The action sequences done with different angles from surveillance footage is a new and exciting contribution to cinema. But... I don't know... I'm not sure that I felt anything by the end. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to make of all the copious brutality. Has justice been served? I guess. Do I care? Not really. - Annihiliation: Very pretentious movie. Natalie Portman is increasingly become an actor/actress with a highly punchable face, perhaps this is because she plays so many similar, vapid roles. No more risk taking for Portman, amirite? MOVIES I HAVEN'T SEEN YET AND REALLY WANT TO (Maybe next week?) - Deadpool 2 - Hereditary - Simon |

KoiceReloaded:You are a hard man to please... A Quiet Place is one of the best movies of the year. Argue with my French tutor. Besides there is an upcoming sequel. When i got the end i guessed as much and when i checked online it was confirmed. All the blood and gore of justice will be in the sequel, as well as additional characters. |

oyetpel:This is similar to a situation where a bank vault was hit by a motley crew of bank robbers and they make away with 25 million dollars in a 50 million dollar vault. The bank manager been an opportunistic bastard that he is saw an opportunity, and promptly kept the rest of the 25 million for himself. He then reported the theft of 50 million to the authorities, thereby successfully pinning his half of the crime on the robbers, because he knew the robbers are not gonna come out and refute his claim without giving themselves away. The perfect crime. |

KoiceReloaded:Annihilation is also a very good movie. Slow and thoughtful, leaving viewers with loads of questions that are open for debate. Lovely. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Nobody: 11:52pm On Jun 16, 2018 |
Ishilove:A sequel? There better be, cuz I felt like punching someone after that ending. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Nobody: 11:53pm On Jun 16, 2018 |
Ishilove:I beg to differ. Too many plot altering holes. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Ishilove: 11:54pm On Jun 16, 2018 |
KoiceReloaded:The ending should have told you that a sequel is planned. It is very obvious that the movie was deliberately planned to have a sequel hence an ending that leaves us yearning for more. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Ishilove: 11:55pm On Jun 16, 2018 |
KoiceReloaded:That movie has been extensively discussed on this thread. I wish I could get you the link to the various angles |

Ishilove:When it comes to horrors, terrible cliffhangers are the norm and don't always guarantee a sequel. |

BlackManta:You are in disbelieve and you think a flying Batman is unrealistic & absurd right .. I would take it that as a kid, u never saw the animated series "Batman of the future ". A young Batman who has a flying suit of armor just like Marvel's ironman just that he's is much better. If you saw this particular series or read the comics, you'll definitely agree with me that this is what the movie adaptation ought to be like. You talked about powers, but does Tony Stark have any power whatsoever?? Yet, he's one of the strongest avengers & can comfortable take on any of the avengers right there on the spot(Ironman vs Thor, Ironman vs captain American, Ironman vs Hulk) without having to run home to get a mech suit or bigger weapons and artillery like your buddy Batman does. All marvel heroes are so perfectly written that each of em are equipped on the spot to face any threat whatsoever. Finally, you call him the master tactician yet in the justice league animated series most times all he does is to sit out the mission cause he knows he's no match for the villain. And when he participates, his job is usually to guide civilians to safety while the big guys handle the threat. I'll pick Oliver Queen as a better tactician over Batman any day any time. In the animated series, why don't you ask yourself why he isn't on that tower just like the rest of the justice league superheroes. Fact is the dude got trust issues & is just an informant & is hardly included the decision making process of the justice league. |

BlackManta:Were is the logic in BVS fight??. You pointed out how Superman handed Steppenwolf's ass to him, to me, that's fight was logical because Superman in the DCEU is regarded as a god so I expected nothing less. Secondly, comparing Superman to wonder woman & aqua man is utterly blasphemy, it's just like comparing pseudonym & Hades to Zeus. We all know they are siblings but not equals. What am trying to say in essence is that DC writers have already portrayed Superman as a god, it's an established fact in the DCEU. So him kicking steppenwolfs ass like a kid is utterly justifiable by me, on the other hand, him getting beat up, humiliated & nearly getting himself killed by Batman of all people in the DCEU, kryptonite on not is certainly unacceptable by me..... haba!! This is someone who literally rose from the dead after doomsday in the animated movie & in the JL movie yet at the sight of kryptonite, an earth weakling can take him down. Abeg, that kryptonite bullshit is a step taken too far jare. |

The foreigner. 6/10 I wonder what Jackie Chan is still doing acting? He's too old to do sh1t abeg, imagine a man in his 60s throwing pathetic punches all in the bid of fighting, inasmuch I'm a huge fan. they need to leave him be, so he could aleast grow old in peace. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by Nobody: 12:39am On Jun 17, 2018 |
Ishilove:Not a movie, just something I came up with. Oyetpel posted an excerpt of old record of an FBI mole that was recruited to catch a mole in the bureau. A mole cannot obviously out himself, so he has to blame someone else for it. I used that analogue to explain just what a perfect crime it was. |

Five minutes into A Quiet Place and I've got to say the movie is quite engaging. It heightens your other senses as your sense of hearing is left idle. Nice concept for a movie. Ok. Let me get back. More to come |

KoiceReloaded:Lol. I think the talent is there, but the coach is clueless on how to make them showcase it. |

Beorn:They're average talented at best. The lethargic football I witness yesternight finally convinced me that Nigeria desperately need a creative midfielder to spray defense splitting passes, an enforcer that will break up play, fast effective full backs to spray diagonal crosses, and skilful pacy forwards. Right now, the coach is only making do with what he has. You can't conjure a fluid liquid football from players not technically capable. |

KoiceReloaded:Yes, they are averagely talented, but a top coach knows how to bring out a tactic to make his players tick. He knows the right substitutions to make and the instructions to issue out when they're on the back foot. Take Iceland for example, they're not as talented as Argentina or other top teams, but their coach have found a way to instill a collective fighting spirit in them. Those lads have a never say never attitude and they defend like their lives depend on it. That's how to defeated a more talented England team last Euros. Through determined defending and swift counter |
