Nigeria needs an alternative airport at Abuja that can handle international carriers just like Gatwick in London, in case of emergency

Doesn't make sense diverting aircrafts to Kaduna because of ordinary maintenance

no passengers then only venice italy 20 million tourist in a year anyways oyibo wey dey come naija for oil or china people wey get factory for sango ota we ve no security so no tourist attraction
Italy is a monster in tourism.

We are not ready for tourism in this country until someone (a visionary leader) puts a moratorium on all forms of crude oil exploration so that we can look inward and harness our real potential.

For now all eyes are on crude oil

When you hear the passenger traffic in this country and wonder who the poor people are.

Based on poor man no dey fly plane.

I also expect such high rate at the owerri airport too. It's at least busier than that of Port Harcourt.

I now see why they say Nigerians are unemployable. International travels for Q1 is around 199k while the over 880k mentioned is for domestic travels.

Reasons for this low frequency in international travel might be because it's winter in the general northern hemisphere excepting South Africa and Australia and also because most international students may have already left previous fall.

This would be my own reasons considering the airport exclusive of Lagos.

To assume that the 1.02 million is for international travels is infact a 'sin'.

By the special grace of God, I'll be counted among those who left this crazy country in Q2.
Q2 will be over in some days. About 11 days
