The output of a mobile phone charger is 5V which isn't enough to cause damage (death ) to someone.

This is 2018 folks, get yourself educated.

What do you think really killed her ? Enlighten us. You guys can explain to laymen how one can't be electrocuted in this manner.

I once saw a photo of someone shot in the jaw by a gun during a robbery being circulated as the "consequences of using a phone whilst plugged to a charger"
A phone's charger output is rated between 5-7 volts, this is not enough to pass killing current through a person.

Moreover, most phones and chargers are rubber insulated.

If it wer remotely possible that the charger can short circuit and deliver over voltage to the phone, then we'd sure have increased cases of blown phones from over voltage.

Do you understand ??

itiswellandwell:
How is that possible?
Most likely, she wasn't using the original charger. Most of these fake chargers in circulation have their dc-out lines(output to charger) very close to the ac-in lines(much closer than the rules say) as the PCB degrades (poor quality pcb) due to heat, they make contact and shock is assured,as well as possible damage to the phone.

From what I know, current from domestic source does not produce fatal consequence due to earthing. How did it pass through the phone to produce such disaster. Did the phone simply amplify the supply?
