My guy chill, not everything is spiritual. This is negligence on the part of the man. How will he put on Gen in the kitchen? Same thing happened in Lagos last year if am not mistaken.

When will our power issues stop, when can Nigeria boast of constant power supply, I believe if there was power supply der dat calamity wouldn't have happened. A time has come wen Nigeria need to take some certain things into consideration. The usage of generators in this country is becoming a nuisance nd danger to livelihood. Atleast if there is constant power supply the comsumption of fuel by generators will reduce and also the amount of fumes produced. Last year we were introduced to prepaid meters and we were having hope that there will be Atleast a considerable amount of light in a day but things only got worse. I jxt taya for this country.

Its sad and very sad again that this will continue to happen. Nigerians will continue to die like chickens because they have refused to wake up and use their head. The way some useless nigerians come online to praise these useless politicians is extremely annoying. There is no nigerian politician that is worth any single accolade. I blame the woman too. If a mother noticed the head of the home is careless, you need to be up and put things right. My father trained us on safety first, I put all to practice even when I notice mY husband is trying to play less, for the sake of the kids I suspend so many things.

I rather put that gen off than sleep with noise or fume disturbing.

Safety is everyone's duty.

Perhaps not by generator but gas appliances kill people similarly and regularly in West. There are causes for which to hold Nigeria authorities responsible and Nigerians do so without fail however one need only observe how the "Nigerians" in the pictures handled the bodies in this tragic case to glimpse why government in Nigeria may be inadequate. The Nigerians in the images were full of concerns and caring but they did not treat the deceased with dignity. They lacked know-how, imagination and common sense. Politicians are probably marked by similar lack of asthetics, organisational abilities and so on.

...i expect some may think that politicians are meant to know better but politicians in Nigeria are Nigerians and given the predicltion of average Nigerians to pursue education and travel, politicians are certain to be no more educated nor greatly more travelled.

Someone should remind Bola Ahmed Tinubu of his statements on June 12 at Abuja ,One of which he said that Nigerians no longer pay monthly for darkness.

If there was light, this family wouldn't have met their untimely death because of generator fumes.
