Good day petlanders,am kinda confused and am thinking where else to get advice if not nairaland,I just got an apartment and I need a pet companion and am stuck between getting a SAMOYED AND AMERICAN ESKIMO they both look alike and am asking you guys which to you think is better for an indoor and playful dog and would make a good pet thank you

Many of what you'll see around is the American Eskimo. Though both look alike, but the Samoyed is a far bigger dog in flesh. They'll easily assume the Size of a German shepherd. The American Eskimos on the other hand are the spitz type dogs- small toy breed. So by reason of apartment size, I think what you'll be getting will be an Eskimo.

better you get the eskimo,they are very good at alerting,and mostly friendly and not overly aggressive,but some are overly aggressive too,,,samoyed is a working dog and very scarce in this part of the world,

They're toy dogs- loving family dogs. Looking at in-house dogs, Eskimos Lhasas, Shih Tzu, and a few other toy breeds would do.

Working dog
A working dog is a canine working animal, i.e., a type of dog that is not merely a pet but learns and performs tasks to assist and/or entertain its human companions, or a breed of such origin. dogs that u cant just keep on lock up for a long period of time,they are mostly agile,athletic,and vasertile breed of dog that needs to be active for a reasonable hours of the day.
