The cables are not contacting ma'am. It's either, cables are bad, or broken. Readjust cables. If it persist, let's know.

There's a new technology now that removes lines from tv screens, though, not common. And it could cost about 30k or thereabout to remove.
So, if you ask my opinion, it's not worth it, I'd advise you ditch the plasma being a old technology.

Pls I have a 55inchies Panasonic led. The picture just went off but the sound is still there and there's backlight...i 've looked at the panels inside and they all seem ok..no busted condenser or diode. Someone said it's from the screen but I doubt it.
What should I do next?

True in a country that fake, and substandard items are more rampant.
There are two types of these electronics where they come from, made for UK, U.S and made for Africa, especially, "made for Nigeria."
The cosmetics are different, the materials are a little bit inferior to the made for UK or made for US. And they don't come with satellite facilities until recently, few. Not because they're not useful for this environment, but they're not made for this part of the world.
It's quite pathetic, they bring us inferior in the name of 3rd world country, and they see an avenue to make more money.
The foreign companies within the country manufacturing here, gives us substandard, compared to what they manufactur back at home.
They have organizations that are sincerely strict about production standard.

So, when we had the US and UK mades' we compared with the brand new ones here in Nigeria, and we see the inferiority.
Though, some stores import directly from these foreign manufacturers, they're like 1 out of 50, and the items are even more expensive.


Founi, and Sims, are distributors, and a channel, I won't put them in the 1 out of 50.
With the politics, and the corruption, Nigeria is a land of opportunities for foreign gimmicks.

Our Lg Led tv of about 20months just recently began showing half screen- completely blank on the left half and displays on the right half. Before it got to this extent it will go completely blank and then we'll have to switch off and on again, pls what is the cause and solutions will much appreciated.

first, and foremost, you need to know if this is caused by the TV, perhaps, a connected device (Your DVD Player, Game Console or others).
Any time it does that again, press menu on the remote. If you're able to see the entire menu, you know there is a problem with a connected device. If the entire menu cannot be seen, there is a problem with either the panel or the backlight inverter.

The issue must be with the connection. Check the device with which you're trying to connect: how's the network, is it available, and strong enough?
If it is, reset the TV to factory default and try again.
