It’s not the first time Salah has clashed with the Egyptian FA and the forward is now concerned the breakdown in relationship is irreparable. Salah went to war with the Egyptian FA when they used his image rights without his permission, and put him at risk of a massive financial loss. Vodafone has a sponsorship deal with Salah, however his image was plastered on Egypt’s World Cup plane which was sponsored by WE, a rival telecommunications company.
