So, I was very happy when they started construction on the gbagada mini Stadium. Giving accolades to the Lagos state government for having a foresight to develope sport complex in every local government.

My expectation was that it will be a very beautiful Stadium with cool facilities lush lush astro turf. A syntechtic pitch is the only option I was expecting.

The complex was beautifully sponsored by Coca cola and everything was done, but low and behold I saw people planting "grass" all over the pitch. I was like " no now, not again! They should use astro turf! Synthetic pitch! It's modern! We can't maintain grass!

After one month of commissioning the stadium this is what it looks like now....
See pitch.

What is a fulani herdman doing inside the stadium for Christ sake?

Who told him its a good idea to seat in the row while his cattle feed on the pitch?

The authorities responsible should look into this or if it's Coca Cola this is below their standard.

As far as i know dis place dat is close to my area, the ram/chicken seller has been operating b4 the mini stadium was built and were allowed to operate during & after construction of dis beautiful stadium. The stadium has been around since as far back as 2015.

And the reports are false. It's not dilapidated at all!

BTW there are no Fulani herdsmen in the stadium. That part you see those ram sellers is not part of the stadium

If you read my tweet you'll see where I mentioned "pitch" "astro turf" "synthetic pitch" wetin concern me with ram market. The angle I snapped from was where I was at at the material time.
If you know the authorities responsible Pls get them to redo the "pitch" . That's the beauty of stadia.
