Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has donated N10 million to the victims of the Bauchi Windstorm that destroyed a lot of properties in the state. Mr Abubakar made the donation on Monday when he visited the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwan Adamu in his palace, NAN reports. He said he came to commiserate with the people and the state government over the recent windstorm and fire disaster in Bauchi and Azare town. The former vice president explained that his visit to commiserate with the people of Bauchi was almost truncated because he had problem with the plane that was to bring him. “I am happy that I am able to make the visit today to Bauchi because I am determined to come here to sympathise with the citizens over the havoc. “I pray for the repose of the souls of those that lose their lives and to those that lose their properties. “I came with N10 million for the victims and I pray for God to forestall such occurrence in the future,” he said. In his remarks, Mr Adamu expressed his appreciation to the former Vice President for the visit, saying that the gesture was a demonstration of his love to the people of the state. “We deeply appreciate your support and love of the people of Bauchi. “All we can say is that the windstorm and the fire that engulfed the market in Azare are trials from God and we pray that such will not happen again. The emir, however, assured Mr Abubakar that the money will get to the victims through the committee set up by the state government. Mr Abubakar and his entourage also proceeded to Azare to commiserate with the people over the fire incident that destroyed over 1, 000 shops in Azare market. https://lailasnews.com/atiku-donates-n10-million-to-victims-of-windstorm-in-bauchi/ lalasticlala

Buhari till 2024. Everyone just keeps making the Jos killing seem like a big deal but are quick to forget the fact that these guys went into a mosque to burn our Korans and kill some people found in the mosque and nobody did anything about it. An eye for an eye. If the incident in Jos is not related to what the people did to the Muslims living in that area then I'm very sure that the crime was carried out by Ipods and Oduduwa descendants just to paint the Fulanis as evil people which we are not. |

BAILMONEY:Flat-head will look for how to drag Yorubas into this just to get likes from his fellow embittered flat-headed ibowl ipob losers. Osu man, you are now supporting a Fulani man to become your president after berating Yoruba people for doing the same. You ibowls are hypocritical, pathetic, and shameless. You have abandoned Biafra agitation to support a Fulani man as president. Ibowls have always been slaves to Fulani right from Nnamdi Azikwe till now. |
