Tactically, I think Spain don’t really need a coach. That squad is comprised of some of the most accomplished footballers in the history of game, and have played together for many years, in some cases for well over a decade. Them Sabi the work wella.

But I think the Spain Coach isn’t really there for tactics. Of course, he will pick a game plan and run drills etc, but these players are super elite. They can run the play.

I think the Spain coach’s job is similar to Zidanes at Madrid - Keep the peace, satiate the egos, and unite the factions, so that the world class talent can fully focus on their work on the pitch
