John Wesley Olabode (MFR) running for the Federal House of Representatives come 2019 on the platform of the Young Democratic Party of Nigeria (YDP) has called out on President Muhammadu Buhari to avenge the people of Plateau of the alarming killings by declaring war on the perpetrators known as Miyetti Allah. Speaking with him at his Lagos residence, he had this to say; “Once upon a time, Jos Plateau used to be one of the most desirable state to visit in Nigeria. It used to be known for her blessed nature, serene environment and icelandlike weather. Memories of my experience in the Jos of the past years still linger so beautifully. The killings and bloodbaths has never been a rumor not to talk of it’s reality in Plateau. It is so heartbreaking and weakening to hear and behold the ongoing massacre in the state by some infidels and unscrupulous elements going by the name Miyetti Allah. The loss of one life should be dreadful enough to throw a nation into mourning not to talk of when hundreds of lives are being sent to early grave promising destinies of children being cut short. For whatever reason the claim is for why this is happening, IT IS UNACCEPTABLE and should be vehemently condemned in its entirety! I am calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare war and absolute hunt down of every Miyetti Allah individual until an end is brought to these killings. The President must take responsibility as the Chief Security Officer of Nation. Otherwise done, a vote of NO CONFIDENCE be passed by the National Assembly with immediate effect as we can’t afford the loss of more lives!” He said.

A nation undergoing daily bloodshed can never make meaningful progress because the bloods of the innocent shed, just like Abel, continues to cry negatively against the nation.
