Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has warned the security agents that the recent killings that happened in Plateau must not repeat itself.

Osinbajo made this remark during a condolence visit to Plateau assuring that the perpetrators would face justice.

The number two man met with representatives of different sides in the Plateau conflict and noted that the Military & Police have sent extra deployments to the troubled spots.

"I have left instructions that we don not want to hear that any of these killings, maiming or violence continue and I'm sure that the heads of security have taken that very seriously", Osinbajo said.

He also noted that the government was looking at medium to long term plans to put an end to the violence while also looking to integrate those affected back into the society.

Osinbajo also noted that killings of this kind must be condemned while noting that NEMA will provide relief materials to affected citizens.
