The end is close. Jesus that has been talked and preached about is coming. God only answers one prayer now and Its the prayer of forgiveness. Ask for his mercy and forgiveness, turn away from sin, have a pure heart, be kind, tell someone that Jesus is coming. God only takes the prayer of mercy and forgiveness. Any other prayer other than forgiveness is a waste of time.

You have stated the obvious truth that is in my mind. Most of these ignorant and lazy Nigerians become gullible and stupid because of their religious and tribal sentiments. So, because the present Federal Government is not from you own corrupt extraction, whatever they do is wrong even when your so called 'good government' couldn't do one-tenth of it!

Lol... Are they any different from d batch dat have been waiting for both alert and resumption date from dem for d past 6 months already? Let dem campaign with nonsense.. They are bribing d youths with 30k allowee for 2yrs and den back to square one of unemployment.. D mumu below is a typical mumu
Pls tell them... They will keep recruiting new beneficiaries without paying the previous batches just because they want to give people false hope, perhaps to buy our votes at the polls. I don't like the way some people fall for cheap lies like this. I won't be surprised if they recruit up to 10 more batches between now and next year's election.

Don't mind am. It is far better to be collecting 30k per month and allow this administration to continue than to vote the criminal and treasury looters (PDP) who have no plan for Nigeria not to talk of the Nigerian youths

This administration is doing a lot of work in the service of others... VP is committed in the progress of the country and impacting positively to the life of many Nigerians. This programme is commendable. N-Power Programme is really helping to address the unemployment problem in the country and to make Nigeria youths have hope of better future. Thanks to the vice president for this wonderful innovation.

How I wish we have had this kind of leader in the past....Osinbajo is a leader without limitation, a leader that spend his life and time to influence others, this is a real leader to me. God will continue to bless you for me....you are indeed a blessing to this nation of ours.
Just imagine the numbers of life that N-power has changed for better
Imagine the numbers of people benefiting from GEEP

This is good governance at work.
Though there is no how huge the achievement of any government can be, more and more will still be expected.....
Therefore, we are expecting more and more from you....keep the good work going and and keep Nigeria growing

I don't know why this useless APC government choose to play politics with almost everything. It seems like almost everything they say or do now is aimed at getting our support at the polls.
The N-Power scheme was instigated to reinvest the money we saved by fuel subsidy removal into paying our uneducated graduates to work for the period of 1 year.
When crude oil was selling for about $60 per barrel, and the importation cost of petrol was around 145 naira per litre, the federal government was paying almost nothing to subsidise fuel. So the money they could have spent on fuel subsidy was channelled in paying N power beneficiaries. That's why the scheme was working then.
Right now, crude oil sell for almost $180 per barrel and petrol importation cost 225 naira per liter when we are still buying fuel for 145, the 60 naira surplus is paid by the federal government through the NNPC. Due to the enormous quantity of petrol consumed in this country, the government now spends about 2.4 billion naira every day on fuel subsidy.
With such expenditure, where will the government get money to fund the N power scheme?
Why can't this government tell us the truth that they can no longer fund the scheme because they are unable to remove fuel subsidy completely.
They just keep lying to us about the scheme so that they could get our support at the polls. The truth is that for some months now, they haven't been able to pay those who were already admitted into the scheme. But they keep promising us that new beneficiaries will be recruited.
Even the feeding of primary school pupils stopped since last term in my area, yet this yeye government still boast of that as if it was a remarkable achievement in the first place. All this lies is just to seek our support at the polls.
Stop lying oga, they didn't stop NY payment

Finally this scheme has reached Oyo state I have always been waiting for this day....thank you so much my able VP. It still amazes me how this programs is forcefully addressing the issue of unemployment. If this trend can continue it will only be a matter of time before Nigeria start competing with the developed nations of the world.

Start from somewhere. N-Power job with salary of 30k per month is better than sleeping at home and roaming the street with certificate without any payment.

I am not saying they are saints or they have made everything ok, but then if you want to say something don't back it up with lies!
your first lie is this crude oil was selling for about $60 per barrel, this period if you want to be sincere you should know it was below $40 dollars per barrel, now that is the lowest for more than 6 years!

your second lie is this Right now, crude oil sell for almost $180 per barrel and petrol importation cost 225 naira per liter when we are still buying fuel for 145, the 60 naira surplus is paid by the federal government through the NNPC., seriously, are you just trying to get some like, $180 dollars per barrel, maybe you don't know what you are saying, simple google search can clear this crap.

Now you can say all you want and make politics out of it all, but one thing is certain, even at our lowest they still could help in a small way, maybe not that significant now but trust me, for a long time, i have never seen anyone who really deserves help from federal government receive it, until now!, i know you will think, oh!, he is a jobless youth or he is a BMC as nairalanders will call it, but that is the truth, alot of people have benefited from it.

This is not to say i want you to vote for so and so person, but just to tell you, if you want to criticize, be objective, don't just write rubbish and expect everyone to walk around it, this may be a public forum but what you say have a big impact as far as you can read and write!
Re: N-power: Osinbajo Announces Second Batch Of Successful Applicants by Nobody: 9:02am On Jun 27, 2018
Is this thing even functional?
If they want to really create jobs, they need to scrap NYSC like now now. They use corpers to make up for the shortage of teachers and civil servants, even private companies do the same. They hardly pay the corpers well...that is the main idea anyway....cheap labor. Scrap NYSC, build a vocational village and see how unemployment will go out the window at least 50 percent. Npower is rubbish. After the scheme, biko....then what?

One thing is criticize, but it's another thing to have a premise to base your criticism upon. It is an hypocrisy of the highest order to accuse someone without having any facts or figure to back up your accusation. On what basis are you saying this??

Allowances is not ridiculous for unemployed youth, most of them are not going to their place of work to justify the money being pay to them. Some fully employed graduate salaries are not up to that in private companies. Also the selection process is not about political parties you belong and one candidate cannot collect more than one salary as people were collecting multiple salary in Sure P.

Sorry for the mistakes... I meant to say that crude oil now sells for $80 per barrel and petrol now cost 205 naira to import.
But anyway, despite the errors I made in quoting those values, anybody that has been following the news in recent times should understand the message I was trying to pass: THAT NIGERIA NOW SPEND ABOUT 2.4 BILLION NAIRA EVERYDAY ON FUEL SUBSIDY, THAT IS WHY THEY ARE UNABLE TO PAY THE PREVIOUS BATCHES OF N POWER BENEFICIARIES.
So isn't it part of politics that they are still recruiting more batches when they can't pay the previous batches?
