Good that the government is finally addressing the issue. The rate at which these SARS are harassing the people is so so annoying. I will so much wish the government ban them completely, but for the fact that they are still considering review of it is till a good move in the right direction. God bless Nigeria

At last the government is listening to the yearning of the people. If one has never had issue with the so called SARS, it might not make sense why they should be ban completely. Though I'm not totally please with the review but I know its a good development and a good move in the right direction. I believe this will limit their aggression I hope

Like seriously? So the SARS issue is a trivial issue to you I guess.

Nobody asked them to release press statement for every step they take, but some certain critical issues that have been subject of discussion in the public domain needs their urgent and immediate action. If you are in Nigeria you will know this SARS issue has been going on for long. Videos have been posted, audios released, people have died and are still dieing as a result of their brutality. Please truthfully answer if you think an enquiry into their actions is not worth the front page of national dailies?

I mean if they can give June 12 declaration as much publicity as it will serve their political motive, why not give this SARS issue that affects me and you that same level of publicity.

My grouse is this; So if someone had not asked at that town hall meeting about SARS brutality, we wouldn't have been informed that something is being done(that is even if it is being done as claimed).......smh

Osibandict no one give a damn whatever you are reviewing people are tired of you and your party lies. No one need review send those SARS back to station and remain as a normal police officer or scrap it they are of no help or use to the society pls apc and osibande stop disturbing our peace.

I met one of this SARS yesterday on the road block with tatoo all over his hand, ear ring on both ears with dreadlocks I was shocked. A police officer looking like this? I took his picture with his colleague and I will upload it to the police high command site in a shortwhile. He was collecting people mobile phone and questions them I was watching in utmost shock when did Nigeria got to this.

The best way is to review their operations because it will be very risky to scrap it totally as we all know how the level of criminality is being generalized in our country. If the fed govt scrap the sars,those criminals will just seize the advantage and take over...everybody sees how some SARS officers do intimidate and harassed people but I don't think the best way is to get them scrapped.... #i support the review or restructuring
