Good morning house, please I need your sincere advise. I am a yearly tenant and my rent has been due since April and I've not been able to pay my rent yet due to some financial challenges. I've offered to pay part of the rent now and offset the balance later but my Landlord refused. Now his Lawyer is threatening to lock my door and throw me out without serving me quit notice. Please I need your sincere advise on what to do. Thanks |

Hello, No one can throw you out of your apartment except by a court order.Demand to be served a quit notice and also employ the services of a lawyer to defend you.If you can't afford one and you are in Lagos,visit any citizen mediation centre around your area where free legal services are offered so they can intervene on your behalf before the lawyer carries out his illegal act. |
