In the video below, Ezenwa is seen waiting for the Barcelona superstar at the entrance of the stadium Tunnel, before then approaching him to ask for his jersey. The Argentine star took it off and gave to him.

you can do it in the dressing room not on the field or in the glare of the fans/coverage, reason you see most of them pointing to the dressing after matches for Jersey exchange, otherwise fans can take it against you as a lack of respect especially when you just lost the match.
