The Plateau State Governor Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has condemned in very strong terms the protest organized by some group of people over the recent attacks in the Northern Senatorial District which turned violent. In a statement signed by Director, Press & Public Affairs, Samuel, Emmanuel Nanle, t he governor said that it was regrettable that the conveners of the protest under the joint auspices of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Northern Zone of Plateau State; the Youth Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Plateau State and Bazata Gospel Team allowed the protest to be hijacked by hoodlums. Lalong added that the hoodlums took advantage of the procession led by these organizations to destroy government’s properties, vehicles of Civil Servants and visitors to the Government House running into millions of Naira. He noted that the protest represents one of the saddest commentaries in the state’s collective resolve to stand as a people united against evil. Governor Lalong opined that the name of the Church as a moral rectitude shouldn’t have been associated in any way with group of persons who would contemplate violence as a show of discontent especially in this period that all Godly and peace loving citizens are sharing in the grief of the bereaved. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/lalong-knocks-can-over-violent-protest-at-plateau-s-government-house-258471.html Mynd44 lalasticlala oam4j |

Persecution on Christian during this Buhari era is alarming..But God will see us through all. Dear God We thank you for the Power of your Word and your Presence over our lives. We thank you that no weapon formed against us will prosper, for greater are You who is in us, than he who is in the world. We pray that you will cast down every threat and acusation, every abusive word and cruel attack hurled our way. We praise you that nothing is impossible with you, that You are loving and gracious, full of mercy and might. We trust in you alone, to rise up strong on our behalf. Thank you that you are our Defender and Strong Tower, our Refuge and our Strength. Thank you that you fight for us today, and in our weakness, you make us strong. In the Powerful Name of Jesus, Amen! |

Imagine someone whom has not criticised miyetti allah group. Meanwhile, i hardly have sympathy for this middle belt victims of onslaught going on. Not because they played major role during the civil war against Igbos but because they are still proud and boastful about it. I was in Jos a while back close to federal secretariat, sitting close to gathering of old men whom were discussing Nnamdi Kanu and Biafran agitation. They taunted Igbos and narrated how the war was fought, where commands and commanders came from, when different meetings were held to counter perceived actions from Igbos, even mentioned Jos as the Northern capital then. Then concluded with Igbos should not bring up the issue of Biafra again as they will be intimidated and killed again. I nearly lost control that day but the love and thought of my family kept my sanity in check, otherwise, story would have has it a so so so and so young man killed so many and got killed. After their bragging and ego romance about Igbos killed during the war, I took everything in and went away. The spot this happened is a small shop close to federal secretariat entrance in Jos. I am not telling this to incite any one but for Igbos to see we need no retaliation. They will all pay one after the other. Though it is a pity lives are lost, maybe there is a cause afterall. Igbos lost the war but no Igbo land was claimed or is being claimed by the wicked. Hold your peace Igbos, the Lord will fight our battles. |
