Praying won't change anything so stop deceiving yourself. Those that perished in yesterday's fire included pastors, church goers, tithe payers, imams, Muslim that prays five times daily and fasted for 30 days some weeks back. Lots of them prayed for journey mercies before leaving their homes and offices but sadly, God looked away when they got caught in the fire. And God answers prayers when the conditions are met. The problem is not God answering, the problem is if he hears the prayers because God doesnt here every prayer.

for God to hear our prayers as a nation, then we must fulfill all the 4 steps i wrote.
If we do all that and nothing changes, then u can become an atheist.

1. national humility
2. prayers
3. seeking Gods opinion
4. a sincere national repentance

Only then will God hear us as a nation and forgive our sins and then HEAL OUR LAND.
So those of you shouting #pray for Nigeria and #heal our land, nothing will happen unless we are ready to take up responsibility and repent as a nation. Why are we so lazy? even Faith without works is dead. Christianity requires some degree of responsibility. Lets do our part and lets God do his

Are we so blinded by our hypocrisy as Christians that we cannot see the scriptures.
Nigeria is one of the most hypocritical nations in the world and what we do in secret is now speaking against us.
We are always quick to Judge others, to remove the spec from others eyes when we have trees inside ours. Now this is a WAKE UP call!!! God bless Nigeria
