His sack shld have come afta dey managed qualified for d world cup.. He did a great job with Chile but for wateva reasons he was absolutely confused for Argentina... No defined tactics , formation or even 11... He was solely responsible for their disastrous outing 1 Like |

I actually thought the Nigerian team gave the Argentines too much respect on the day. We should have at least secured a draw. They were lazy and waiting for the argentines to score. No pressure whatsoever on the Argentines - in football, you force your opponents to make mistakes - and you take your chances when they do. Argentina was really poor in this World Cup. They didn’t deserve to win a match. Glad they loosed against France. |
