Thinking of Nigeria makes me sulk and get red eyes.

7kids
1000+rescue team....
12 kids, not 7, but we get your point. Like someone rightly said, the government would have spent more time commenting on social media about what they intend to do than the actual action itself. From there they will branch off into the arena of political blame game about safety standards and how Apc and pdp government differed in social welfare blah blah blah. How else could a bunch of people enter into a boarding secondary school and cart away 300 girls just like that, and till date one girl remains unaccounted for and nothing is being done about it??

It's even 13 sef.
Well we have a bad culture towards emergencies. From hospitals refusing to attend to accident victims or victims that can die in seconds to the way reactions on flood issues are. The watch and look and exclamation of God deliver us o.....

That of chibok sef, there's nobody that seems to care again cos it's not near their doorstep.

Nigerians have that bad attitude of "inasmuch e no dey affect me, den e no consign me o"

That's just it. Away with all these old cargoes.

All these happen cos we don't feel like one nation atall. we feel like 3major tribes and that's how it's imbibed to the young generation.

Rescuers from China and Australia have joined the search for a youth soccer team missing in a Thai cave, as divers believe they're closing in on the spot where the group could be sheltering.

The international rescue operation which includes more than 1,000 people from Thai emergency services, alongside a US military contingent and British cave experts has been ramping up its efforts since the 12 boys and their 25-year-old soccer coach disappeared during an outing in the caves in northern Thailand on June 23.

Divers are now closing in on elevated dry area, called Pattaya Beach, where they believe the missing boys may have taken refuge in the Tham Luang Nang Non cave system.

Re: 9 Days In The Dark: Story Of The 13 Thai Kids That Disappeared In A Cave(CNN) by Explorers(op):
Searchers trying to reach a dozen boys and their soccer coach in a flooded cave complex used huge pumps to reduce the water level, allowing divers to place guide ropes and air tanks along the route, officials said Sunday.

Given how long the boys and their coach have been missing, the odds of finding them alive seemed to be growing thin. But the governor of Chiang Rai Province, Narongsak Osottanakorn, who is overseeing the search-and-rescue operation, expressed hope that Thai Navy SEAL divers could soon reach the cavern where the group is believed to be.

Tham Luang Cave, a popular destination for cave explorers, is well known for flooding during the rainy season, which generally runs from July to November.

The boys and their coach entered the cave system on June 23, shortly before a heavy rainstorm began. Rising floodwaters trapped them several miles inside.

The ensuing search-and-rescue operation, involving hundreds of people from some 20 government agencies and half a dozen nations, has captivated Thailand, with people across the country, including the king, following the developments.

The United States sent a team of 17 Air Force rescue specialists based on the Japanese island of Okinawa to aid in the search, along with additional support staff.

Groups from Australia, Britain, China, Laos and Myanmar are also assisting in the operation, as are several Thai companies, including the country’s biggest oil and gas exploration firm.

When will Nigeria have something to offer the world freely and voluntarily without any of it being oil, bloodshed or herssmenship?

Mouse of West Africa.

These guys would be so starved from Hunger and stress considering their age. Truly their chances of being alive is very thin.
