I understand that Fela na baba, but even 2face sef na 2baba.

Fela is a legend who took Nigerian music to the world, but 2face also did the same by being first African to receive several international awards.

The issue is not to diminish either of the 2, but to hear your views on who among the 2 took Nigerian music further to the world.

Fela was unique . A music journalist. He is well known and rank in the same level with likes of Bob Marley and peter Tosh. His music still plays both in clubs and streets in this country where I live. I haven't heard of 2face here. Am not condemning his works though.

Comparing Fela to 2face is an insult. It's like comparing the bigness of an Elephant to a Rooster. I was s little boy in Chitown listening to my father playing Fela's music.

Fela had Motown records rep begging him for his signature as far back as the 70's (he never put pen to paper for whatever reason). . .

Fela started a whole new genre of music. . . . .

Ever been to Felabration anniversary before? You have people coming from the whole world, black/white/latino, years after his death. . .
