Hello...I recently bought LG G5 (Korean)...and the only network provided for browsing is 4G..No alternative..don't know if am the only one noticing that..Please how can I set it to 3G?

Dial *#*#4636#*#* see if it brings up a menu and select 3G/WDCMA.
If it doesn't bring up a menu then download an app Force LTE from the playstore.
It'll bring up the menu.

Download 'v10 hidden settings' from playstore, under 'mobile network' you will see the options ur looking for under 'network mode'.

@op, u don't need to download anything. Just go to ur settings, tap more, go to mobile networks, tap network mode, if u want 3g only then select GSM/WCDMA/Auto. If u can't find that option and maybe ur network mode is set to global then change it to LTE/GSM/UMTS, then select network submode and select GSM/GPRS/EDGE only.

That is of course if ur phone is not one of those cloned ones that always have 4g displayed on the screen whether 4g signal is on or not.

OP sorry for barging into your own post.

My LG G3 D850 AT&T variant has only 4G showing sometimes it shows E but it doesn't have any such option for manually selecting network connection.
I didn't notice it all these while cos I felt its normal till some days ago.
How do I go about the correction of this challenge?

Oh I get it. It's common with Korea models. US models have the option to change network type. U can download LG V10 hidden settings from the play store. It also works with g5 and u can use it to access network type.
