Some residents in Kakuruk area of Plateau state, decided to worship in their church which was burnt down during the recent attack by suspected Fulani Herdsmen. The attack which happened last month in several villages in Barkin Ladi, Mangu and Riyom local government areas of Plateau State - saw over 120 people dead and over 200 others seriously injured.

Facebook user Henry Daniel Bago who attended the burnt church along with others - shared the below words.

THE SEED IS BURIED TO THE GROUND AGAIN.

This is kakuruk, COCIN RCC Gashish (Rcc headquarters) Plateau state

The fire was still burning when the people of God remembered the sabbath day by coming together in unity to serve the Lord (Sunday service 1/7/2018) as if everything is ok.

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is you, Lord our God. Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this. Jer 14: 22..

Big churches or anyone God has blessed one way or the should help in rebuilding this church. Condemning herdsmen killings is not enough in this circumstance. The Church will prevail at last against all odd

They just want empathy.... you can't compare this with the persecutions of early Christians.

But still they're more genuine, fearless, temperate and eager to continue the work of Jesus Christ.

I don't like religion as it's one of the biggest problem of Africa but if I must choose one I will rather go with this people for they show more love and tolerance compared to the one that always mention peace but filled with terror, force, blood and deaths..

Just like they tell you "Dont do drugs"

I will say "Don't do religion"

Religion kills faster and crueller than drugs. It kills you physically, emotionally, psychologically, financially etc.

Indeed nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus!

I give glory to God for these ones for tragedy has made them love God even more and reman steadfast.

Father in Heaven look upon them with mercy and grace and let all they have lost be restored unto them seven fold in Jesus name. Amen
