My brother based in US wants to partner with our cousin in sending a container of auto parts to Nigeria. I am worried about: a. Are the ports functioning under Buharis regime? Any ethnic prejudices that delay the container? b. Can they really trust the partner in Nigeria that sent half to give them their part of the profit? He is new to autopart business. c. How do you find a trustworthy clearing agent? d. Is this a good time for importing parts? Thanks in advance for your advise. |

Bitterleafsoup:The bolded is not true. No one would delay your containers cos you're Igbo. You can't trust your partner in Nigeria. Unless there is a drawn contract between both parties and constant checks, you will be scammed. I'm telling you with 100% certainty. I suggest you talk to those selling parts and get their opinion on best time to import parts. If you want my honest advice, let the sponsor stick to dealing in what he has knowledge of. Money can not buy experience and it is experience that they'll use in cheating him. |
