50 Feared Killed In Adamawa, Taraba Attacks by Omooba77: 6:37am On Jul 11, 2018
Over 50 People were reported to have been killed in fresh attacks on Monday night in several border communities in Adamawa and Taraba states .
The attacks were reportedly carried out by Fulani militiamen targeting farming communities around Gojefa, Bujum Yashi , Bujum Waya , Sabonlayi and Bujum Kasuwa villages in the Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State .
Other communities affected by the onslaught include Anguwan Bishop Yotti , Todung , Budon, Bunzum and Bamga Dutse located in Taraba State .
The sustained attacks in recent times , according to the Hama Batta, Alhamdu Teneke, the traditional ruler of Demsa chiefdom , have resulted in most communities in the area abandoning farming . He said this development might lead to famine soon.
Confirming the recent attacks, the member representing Numan in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Sodomti Tayedi, said more than 50 people were feared killed in the wave of the recent attacks.
She also pointed out that no week passed in her community without an attack carried out by suspected Fulani militia .
Tayedi said , “ Our people are farmers but my community is now living in fear since these attacks started in November last year and have persisted up till date .
“We are hopeless and helpless; economic activities here have stopped . This is a farming season and if we cannot go to the farm, then poverty and starvation are what is left .
“We are calling on the government , as a matter of urgency , to come and secure our people and constituency since no one is allowed to take up arms , then it is the responsibility of the government to protect people. ”
One of the survivors, Galilee Ishaku , a resident of Sabon Layi , said , “Those who attacked us were Fulani and they came when we were in the market because it was market day .
“They suddenly entered our village and started shooting . We ran and cross over the river but they followed us and kept on shooting .
“Right now as I am talking , they are in our village, grazing on our farms .
“The people that I know were killed were more than 30 people but many of our villagers are still unaccounted for. ”
Another resident , Dong Jonah, said the attacks usually followed rumours of an impending attack , adding that despite the early warnings to security agencies, measures were hardly taken to forestall the attacks.
However, the Adamawa State Government , on Tuesday through the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh , condemned the attacks on Numan and Demsa communities .
He also expressed the government ’ s concern about the displacement caused by the attacks while assuring the residents that the state government was working to restore peace to the troubled area.
The Monday night attack was the fourth in two weeks with the residents claiming that over 100 people might have been killed. 21 persons were killed in attacks on Demsa and Numan villages

If defending yourself mean taking law into your hands, you better do so coz nobody owns your lives...Those affected state governors should as well empower their local hunter/vigilante.

If Fulani terrorists are wise, they would have waited till Buhari's 2nd term to launch their Jihadist campaign.

Fulani terrorists succeeded in opening another terror front in Adamawa.

NE is gone for Buhari. Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe and over 40% Bauchi (Bauchi Christians) is gone for Buhari.

He is left with only Borno and Yobe states.

In the North West he will lose part of Kano to Kwankwanso/Shekarau, Tambuwal tsunami will make him lose part of Sokoto, Shia moslems and Southern Kaduna make part of Kaduna a No-No for him, Lamido is holding huge part of Kaduna on lock down for him, Zamfara might switch if PDP presents a Northern ticket, few votes will come out of Kebbi because of her few Christian population.

Buhari will lose over 40% of his votes in NW.

Middle Belt, South East and South South are on lock down for PDP.

As usual, Igbos, some yoruba Christians, Northern Christians in the SW are holding 40% SW votes on lock down with Buhari's misrule and his alleged religious agenda, hopefully more yoruba christians will defect to the part of sanity.

At the International scene, President Trump and UK will be skeptical on supporting Buhari. So he just lost down.

OUK might be rallying up foreign Ambassadors to shore up his already battered international image.

But without US and UK, it is nothing but an exercise in futility.

Bottom line: The Bringers of Death are going back to their cows.

We all expected this attack since last week that the Fulani propaganda media released fake pictures of 30 cows the claimed were killed by a faceless Taraba militia...we all knew that fake pic was the preamble to a pending attack yet the Federal Govt stood aside and let this attack happen

Things fall apart
The centre can no longer hold
The Falcon cannot hear the falconet

The president can no longer hear the masses
Nit because he has ear problems though treated with out tax payers money in overseas but because his praise singers are telling him the killing can't dent his winning because this is Nigeria.

He swore to protect us yet he can't stop them from killing us because they believe one of them is in power
Children are becoming orphans
Mothers are become widows
Father's are becoming widowers
Lands are being taken over by cattle and their merchants of death.

One day all this will end, justice will speak and there children will not be exempted from the judgement.

Rest in peace to the dead.

Things are falling apart
The centre can no longer hold
The father can no longer hear the mother
The mother can mo longer hear the children

He swore to protect us yet he lacks the will power to stop them from killing is because they believe one of their own is in power.

They have taken over our lands
Their cattle now graze over our land because they consider it as their own
Their merchants of death are waiting to bring sorrow, tears and blood if we dare protest

Who shall deliver us from this oppression called govt.?
Our pvc can change this fake change they parade about
and with God on our side Victoria Ascerta.

Tell them judgement is coming and their children plus grand children might not escape it because the blood of the dead is crying for vengeance.

Rest in peace to the dead.
