My problem with Pep and Sane is well on this forum established especially with Pep's decision to drop bench him earlier in the season because of free scoring Sterling. Sane is the best winger at City in my opinion but he does not score enough because he wants to create.

Pep is under a lot of pressure to succeed in England, consequently, he is more result oriented and that includes goals which Sterling gave him last season.

but that was because sterling was playing more central and further forward than Aguero for large parts of the season, while Sane was stretching opposition backline by hugging touchline on the left hand side.

I think Pep even gave an interview explaining why Sane had to play that position, with Mandy injured and Delph tucking into midfield.

Play Mahrez in that same sterling role and he would net 30 goals a season.
