President Buhari on Thursday, July 12, congratulated the staff and management of Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), NNPC and other joint venture partners on the signing of the contracts for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of Train 7 of the NLNG Project.

The MOU was signed in London on Wednesday, July 11th between NLNG, the B7 JV Consortium and the SCD JV Consortium.

Rubbish. We can create 500,000 jobs if we 'choose' to start refining our crude wholly. What is the wisdom in stifling the oil sector for foreigners and northerners to dominate then announce a meagre 8,000 jobs as if it is something worthwhile.

This kind of announcement is more befitting of a small oil servicing firm and not Nigeria that exports her crude to India then import at a higher rate. Buhari should be talking ng about 500,000 jobs and not a useless 8000 jobs that will be shared among relatives to leaders.
