I won't throw all in for T-129. In the next few months Turkey will pass into a few years of economic and possible military sanctions.

Engines r American , will need clearance from them.

Some Avionics r European which will need clearance too.

Afaik this deal came through becz of the soft loan being offered for the same by the Turks.

What I find interesting is Turks r buying s400 on loans and they r inturn r selling weapons via loans.

The Chinese pitched a higher interest loan and they lost.

Oh yes. The President of that country is undemocratic. He recently appointed a relative ( on in law)Finance Minister and is trying to subsume his country's Central Bank into the Ministry of Finance against IMF/ World Bank rules.

I am also pretty sure that he will also try to bust US sanctions against Iran which I am not in favour of a well but trust Erdogan to do something rash.

Turkey is headed for a very complicated place in international politics. The EU won't admit them and I am sure the US will return their money already paid for F35 jets.

This is how a dual pulse motor looks like

DRDO dual pulse motor for LRSAM

The pulse 1 motor burns to accelerate the missile to the designated velocity and continues to burn till burnout as the missile is propelled and then coasts towards the target interception point .

At engagement range ie terminal stage the pulse motor 2 is fired to provide the necessary velocity to persue the manuvering target and compensate the energy bleed while pulling high G's , this allows the missile to enforce a tight NEZ and increase the kill probability manifolds against manuvering targets trying to evade the missile.

The 2 turkish f35 r staying in USA as of now.

The delivery of the rest is hanging pending the resolution of the issues between the 2 countries.

Americans holds complete control over the Autonomic Logistics Global Sustainment (ALGS), Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), and Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) required for the f35 to fly . It is run from withen America and with the flick of a switch squadrons of f35 in another country can be grounded.

Even if f35 r delivered they will be flying on the whimps of the Americans.

In that case I would sell the f35 and keep the turks dependent on me.

Anyways in a year or two Erdo)/gan is going to get a nasty surprise. wink

Bellatrix aerospace Private Ltd

Copy paste....

Satellites usually have two types of propulsion systems: primary propulsion, which helps the satellite reach its destination once it leaves the rocket, and secondary propulsion, which helps it maintain its position and make minor corrections to its orientation. These propulsion are achieved using thrusters — chemical or electrical propulsive devices that enable satellites to manoeuver in space. Small thrusters attached to the satellite control these two propulsion systems.

Predominantly, there are two kinds of electrical thrusters that have been traditionally researched and used — the gridded ion thruster and the Hall Effect thruster

Bellatrix has gone a different way with its thruster. “We have been working on a different kind of thruster called the Microwave Electro-thermal Thruster (MET), which is much more efficient than other electrical thrusters,” explains Ganapathy researcher at Bellatrix aerospace, about the novel satellite propulsion design. “The thrust generated by electric thrusters is very low, as little as pulling two sheets of paper. But since there is no friction in space, this is enough to move the satellite,” he adds.

In addition, MET is designed to be a zero-erosion thruster, which gives it a longer lifespan. “Electric thrusters are usually prone to erosion. Every time they are fired, a small portion of the metal gets eroded. Our thruster does not erode, allowing it to last longer,” says Ganapathy.

Apart from the MET, the team is also working on other types of thrusters like the Hall Effect thruster, a nano-thruster for nano-satellites, and a green monopropellant thruster, a chemical propulsion system that is environmentally friendly.

Bellatrix Aerospace hopes to be a game-changer in this space by introducing economically viable solutions. The company says its patented electric propulsion system will bring down the cost of satellite missions significantly.

”The main advantage in electric propulsion is that it requires only around 200-250kg of fuel, as opposed to the two tonnes required for a chemical propulsion system. This reduces the total weight of the payload significantly, which means you can have more transponders on your satellites, making them more efficient, or have more satellites per launch,” reasons Ganapathy.

Bellatrix is also developing its own fleet of launch vehicles. Named Chetak, its two-staged, reusable rocket can launch smaller satellites into the low-earth orbit at a fraction of the cost charged by conventional launch service providers.

Pakistan just signed a deal for 30 T-129 Atak helicopters from turkey
Nemesis8u, didn't you say this deal will not go through? So how come Pakistan and Turkey have now signed the contract agreement?

To be honest, you need to be more objective in your assessment of India and Pakistan relations. I get that as an Indian, your bias towards India will always be prominent, but a little bit of objectivity would do you good.

do u know that people who accuse others of something r generally the people who suffer from the same problem. It is known as blame attribution.

Anyways coming to the point

Show me a single post of mine where I said , to quote u " this deal will not go through "

If u r unable to do so then kindly remove the above post of yours and if u r man enough apologize or maybe not .

And since u r being honest with u r opinion with which I have no problem as it is u r personal observation , allow me to provide a counter perspective.

1. This thread has almost 500 pages , I doubt u will find me referencing the said country more than 50 times max if u discount the jf17 mentioned by me as part of reply to ur all queries. What does it tell u ?

2. Any defence enthusiast by hobby can generally be categorised as a SURFACE FEEDER ie somebody whose opinions and info is borrowed from others be it media, news articles etc. So one simply duplicates what he or she reads. So can a banker advice a doctor on Medical matters, can he ? Get my gist ?

3. As for me not being objective I am sorry it is not up to ur standards. U keep u r standards and I will try my best to come close, after all charity begins at home.

4. Do not raise needless issues where there r none , who knows many years after maybe one may or may not realise that he or she was on the wrong side of a bad joke.

5. If u have a problem with any of my post tell me. I will gladly remove it but dont create needless issues. I am here for my own pleasure becz I like it here. Helps me to unwind. Nothing more nothing less.

Never feel so free to give a unwarranted opinion on another , I don't neither do I expect one

Oga, you have a bias for India especially when issues that concern Pakistan is involved. There's no point running rings over. Every individual visiting any of the military threads know this.

A couple months when this deal was mentioned, you detailed tons of economic reasons why this deal would must likely not go through. You ended up with a "let's wait and see" kind of statement to end your post.

Most Africans don't really care about the happenings in the Indian sub-continent, more so in defence. If we get reports from that sector, let the participants try to be objective at least.

I'm calling you out because when dealing with Pakistan, you have a way of magnifying or out rightly stating the only things wrong in that country.

N/B: For the avoidance of doubt, i have neither hidden or denied my bias for Nigeria. Everyone here knows that.
