I run a school of about 1000 students and have a computer lab of 100 laptops computer and a well equipped and functional laboratory. The issue of power has always been a problem but it became worse few months back. This gives me concern, so I thought of getting a solar power or inverters to power up these equipment but I was somehow discourage of installing one. Reason being that, solar or inverters don't last mor than a year. Please I want a professional advice from an experience and expert installer.

How effective is solar power?
What is the duration of usage after installation?
How much will it cost to power about 100 computers?
What is the capacity needed?
