Please help. I received a mail for invitation for an interview. Here is the mail below.

Dear GOODNEWS,

You are invited to take part in an interview session.

Careerswise is a recruitment firm that handles human resource functions for selected organizations. As part of selection process, you are invited for an oral interview session as follows:

Date: Monday, 16th July, 2018
Time: 10:00am
Address: Plot 5, resource press building, adjacent to sanusi bus-stop, off adeniyi jones avenue, ogba. Lagos.


Come along with a printed copy of your CV and these invite.

For a successful job interview you must be at your best Attitude, Tolerance and Patience.

Please can any one confirm if this firm is real? Although I have research the site, but am not convinced.

because any sane organization that is recruiting would have asked for your cv before inviting you for any form of interview

That's not reason enough to discredit an interview invitation. The application must have been done online, so while the one on one session is ongoing, a hard copy would be needed for verification.

You don't expect the panel to start scrolling through their mails again looking for each applicant's CV.

Agreed it might be GNLD, but your initial assertion that an interview is a scam when asked to come with a CV is misleading. Some persons may hold on to it and miss job opportunities. That's all I was trying to correct.
