The result of the just concluded election in Ekiti state shows a whole lot of things. .

Fayose, the incumbent governor of Emotions state is known to be a bone in the neck of the federal government..

Fayose has tackled President Buhari in several occasions in the time past. . . and seems to have gone Scot free..

The support shown by the federal government in the just concluded election shows they want to punish Gov. Fayose for the things he's done before..

Fed Govt. came full force to support Prof John Kayode Fayemi to beat Gov. Fayose in Ekiti state..

Recall... Prof. Kayode Fayemi resigned as a minister to contest for a Governoship election of a state he had won before. ..

Opinion : The huge support of fed. govt. for Fayemi to emerge is to punish Fayose for his alterances to the fed govt in the time past..

I think you're wrong. PMB always supports APC aspirants, he was there for Tony Nwoye of Anambra and Aketi of Ondo, just like he did for Godwin Obaseki.
PMB had deciphered the character Fayose from day one and considered him a Plague . He made up his mind to avoid him. PMB NEVER i repeat NEVER responded to any of Fayose's attacks. The Ekiti People saw Fayose for who he is and strongly decided to send him away. Federal "Might" had nothing to do with it. Fayose's stooge was soundly defeated fair and square.

Why the high number of forces redeployed to the state.. For the election... The support is much and vivid

to maintain order throughout the elections. you should note, no armed personnel was sent near the polling booths. there were roughly 2600 polling units in the entire state each manned by 4-5 unarmed officers

God bless u,u have said it all!! now that fayose their stooge has been defeated,their trying to down play and belittle fayemi' s victory coinciding it with Fed might,forgetting how fayose won his re-election

like how u said,Buhari has been supporting all his party members,nothing new or special in fayemi' s case
